City of Coachella Homebuyer Assistance This program provides deferred payment, low interest loans to assist low and moderate income families in the purchase of a qualified home in the city limits of the City of Coachella. The maximum purchase price for the City’s program, as established by the Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) is currently set at $362,790, this limit is reviewed by HUD and may change every year, for any updates please contact the City of Coachella Community Services office at (760) 398-3502 x131. The City will provide a maximum assistance through the First-time Homebuyer Program of $75,000, please be advised that not every household/applicant will qualify for the full assistance.
