Hi Tammi, you should first collect all of the facts. Apply for a mortgage, consider the payments and expenses (closing costs and down payment) and determine if you can afford to buy a home.
With so-so credit and low income it sounds like qualifying may be a challenge. You don’t know if you don’t try.
